Every smile doesn’t have to be perfect, but everyone deserves healthy teeth that are clean, pain-free, and cavity-free. Family & Cosmetic Dental Care at your My Johns Creek dentist is making healthy smiles possible and changing lives.
Need a filling? Tooth extraction? Teeth cleaning?
On May 6, 2017, Dr. Patel and his volunteers will treat the first 50 patients, or as many patients as can be treated by 2 p.m. All patients will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What Is Dentistry from the Heart?
Dentistry from the Heart is a national non-profit organization. Their mission? To make people smile. Founded in 2001 by a dentist in New Port Richey, Florida, DFTH was created to aid people in need, including the growing population of under-insured or uninsured Americans.
Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance. Over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply isn’t an option for many of the uninsured. To date, DFTH has helped over 5,000 patients and provided over $1 million in free dental care.
“Now more than ever, I know there are people out there that need my services, but have no means to afford them, whether they’re out of a job or just don’t have dental insurance. This Dentistry from the Heart event is my way of giving back to the community and being there for the people who need dental work,” says Dr. Patel.
