Rachel has been a registered dental hygienist at Hello Family Dental since 2018. She cleans patients’ teeth and gums and educates them on their oral health, offering advice about everything from proper flossing techniques to the best type of toothpaste to use.

“I love helping patients in any way possible, whether that means easing their nerves, helping them achieve a beautiful smile, or making them feel healthy again,” Rachel says.

So many people avoid visiting the dentist because they are ashamed of the state of their oral health. “We strive to make each patient feel important and understood and never let them feel embarrassed about their mouths,” Rachel says.

Rachel proudly conveys this information to her patients while keeping the atmosphere light, fun, and relaxing.  She has the wisdom to share while also embracing opportunities to expand her skill set. “I enjoy working with Dr. Patel because I am always learning from him. He goes to great lengths to make each patient understand the condition of their mouth and how we can help them.”

Rachel has a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Augusta University where she was a member of the Alpha Eta Allied Health Honor Society and a recipient of the Emilie T. Fisher Scholarship. Her education exposed her to many types of dentistry and prepared her to work with patients of all age ranges and needs. She lives in Lawrenceville and enjoys spending time with friends and family at the movies, church, and concerts.

Going to the dentist is a challenge for some patients, but dental assistant Kristen makes it her responsibility to ensure that every patient feels welcome and comfortable at Hello Family Dental. Working alongside Dr. Patel, Kristen dutifully carrying out tasks such as prepping the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and having each instrument at the ready for Dr. Patel during procedures.

Kristen considers a positive relationship between dental assistant and patient to be essential. The person who helps a patient get through the treatment or procedure which they are undergoing will be the strongest memory the

patient has of their time at the dentist. I really enjoy interacting with our patients, and I love when they leave our office happy and with a healthier mouth,” Kristen says. learning on the job, Kristen finds the fun in working with Dr. Patel. “He continues to teach me new things every day. At Hello Family Dental, we are friendly, fun, and care about patients’ needs,” she says.

Kristen is a graduate of the Gwinnett Dental Career Academy. She currently resides in Johns Creek and loves to hang out with her son, family, and friends.

An integral part of Hello Family Dental since 2017, Jamie Cox is the friendly voice patients hear when scheduling appointments over the phone and the kind face patients see at the front desk.

Jamie helps maintain Hello Family Dental as the reliable Johns Creek dental office that it is, patiently engaging with patients so they feel comfortable and well cared for at every visit. “Our purpose is to help people live long, happy, healthy lives,” Jamie says. Teeth are a serious business, but so is finding opportunities for lighthearted moments. The dental patients at Hello Family Dental come to love about to

love about the practice exactly what Jamie loves about her workplace – the family environment and plenty the laughter. “I truly love working with such a vibrant and fun group of people. My coworkers and our patients really make each day an adventure,” Jamie says.

Jamie’s dual degree in early childhood and special education and her work as a gymnastics coach helped build the foundation for her excellent communication skills and her firm belief in the importance of being a team player. Jamie lives in Buford where she enjoys painting in her free time.

Natalia Rendon is Hello Family Dental’s reliable junior office manager. Part of the practice since 2017, first as a scheduler and then a treatment coordinator, Natalia now manages her many responsibilities as junior office manager with detailed care, supporting and guiding her coworkers, training team members, managing the schedule, and ensuring that every patient feels comfortable.

“I love that I get to help patients alongside an amazing group of people,” Natalia says. “Dr. Patel loves what he does and creates a fun atmosphere for patients and team members.”

It is Natalia’s privilege to help patients feel comfortable about the dental work ahead, whether they are having a routine cleaning, oral surgery, or cosmetic dentistry

procedure. She interacts with patients daily, creating and presenting treatment plans, and answering any questions they have about their dental care or account.

“We truly care about each and every patient and do our very best to make every person feel comfortable,” Natalia says. “We make sure every person understands what is going on and how we can help. We are focused on helping patients get healthy and feel confident about their teeth and smile.”

A student at Georgia State University working toward a bachelor’s degree in finance, Natalia lives in Buford where she makes it a priority to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys reading, traveling, and watching movies.
